Former students of the department offer many services to the department, such as donating time for the department’s upcoming centennial celebration in 2005 and providing advice to the department on such matters as the upcoming ABET accreditation process. Approximately 30 alumni have joined the department’s Alumni Industry Council to create and administer surveys, develop guidelines for academic internship programs, and review course contents. |
